Billy Badger- a 2.5 yr old stunning Kc registered boy. Currently in Suffolk. 'Badger' is quite an excitable little dog with a real zest for life. He is a bit of a scatterbrain shall we say! However, he is a very nice dog, great fun and hilarious to be around, he loves playing with his teddy and he loves to run everywhere! Badger knows basic commands, and is great on the lead. Off the lead he is not quite so reliable, as he just loves to run. Badger has always lived with a cat, and ignores her for the most part. He is great with other dogs and children, he is a fun little dog with not a bad bone in his body! Badger is looking for a home with another sighthound who he can run and play with.

Badger has been with us for almost 2 weeks and during that time he hasn't put a paw wrong. He's clean in the house, gentle and quiet (unlike our whippy who can whinge for England).
He loves doggy company but in the evening likes nothing better than curling up on the sofa. He's learned to play fetch with a ball and how to sit for a treat. In an enclosed space his recall is pretty good.
Pictures to follow when I figure out how to do it.

Badger is now microchipped, neutered and has completed his vaccs so in a few days he'll be able to go out and about. He's getting used to riding in the car. His favourite occupation (other than lounging on the sofa) is coursing Jenson Lurcher and Ginny Whippet.

What a beautiful dog! Having met Clair's gorgeous Bluebell I am mad about the glossy black and whites. Lovely photos too.

Today Badger has had a ride out in the car to visit our daughter. Explored her garden and didn't cock his leg on her plants or terrorise her cats. He then accompanied us to the allotment and finally had a run on the field with our two.
He's getting the hang of retrieving but hasn't quite mastered returning it to hand. Having had his dinner he's spark out on the biggest dog bed in the house.
This dog is too good to be true!

Badger is doing brilliantly. Now he's had his vaccs he's able to go out and about. Friday saw him braving the hoards of infants as they hurtled out of the school gate to begin half term. Kids with scooters, Mums with pushchairs, he trotted steadily on. Wasn't phased by the heavy traffic in the High Street, nor the beeping of the pelican crossing.
Sat/stood quietly whilst we had coffee at an outside table on the Market Square, ignoring two large dogs at a neighbouring table.
Offlead on the Common for the first time on Saturday. No problem with recall, however, we did choose a fairly rabbit-free area, just in case.
Family came over for lunch yesterday, grown up offspring and partners, plus ex racing greyhound. Running in an enclosed area he told off said greyhound for coursing him. Badger chose DiL's lap for the post lunch nap. Had to watch them as they threatened to dognap him.
Truly this doglet is worth waiting for.
