I recently had an email from a lovely lady who adopted a dear little whippet cross from us. However, she not always a little angel, wondered if anyone else had any experience or advice on the following: "Star has just found that she can jump the 6ft fence into my neighbours garden. We thought she was using some trellis work on the fence to get a good footing but after taking down the trellis have found she can run across the garden and jump the 6ft. (I think she has discovered cats)! Is there a recommendation of how high fences should go to stop whippets jumping them? I am surprised they can jump 6ft! The neighbours are very nice fortunately, although the chap seems to be a little nervous of dogs which makes Star bark at him. Poor man."

We holiday at the Lurcher Chalet in Humberston near Cleethorpes. The owner has fixed a trellis horizontally at an angle sloping inwards along the top of the fences. Seems to work.
Would give a link to the website but the photos of the garden don't show enough detail.
