Sorry, couldn't add the photo of Rosie to the write up. Here she is, curled up on my favourite chair. Attachments:

And here's her info again. Rosie (4 years old) is a sweet little silver fawn whippet currently in foster in Salford, where she lives with a lively (too lively, Rosie would say!) whippet cross and a laid back elderly greyhound (both bitches.) She is a cuddle monster and will, when SHE decides, sit for hours in your lap where she will be your private hotwater bottle. She has the most beautiful coat and pretty face, and quite a solid frame. Rosie LOVES food! She loves a walk, but can pull a bit as she's eager to find new places to sniff. She sits nicely but can be a bit 'vocal' if she thinks you're spending too much time on the computer! She would make someone a darling pet, can live with other dogs (but she's got a strong prey drive for cats and even birds) though may prefer to be an only girl. Rosie is spayed. ah too cute....... interesting that she likes new smells and sniffs when out. my foster boys, brian and nigel, dont do much sniffing when on the lead, just seem head up and ears back and away they go! wish they would sniff more as they may slow down a bit and pull less..... i am working on the lead pulling, if only to save my arms

Rosie's pulling isn't improving but we discovered accidentally a way to calm her down. One rainy evening, we put her coat on for walkies and voila - different dog! She obviously feels anxious out on her lead but seems to benefit from having the coat on. Sort of the way Thundershirts work? Or maybe she doesn't like to draw attention to herself when she's wearing the coat: it's too big for her, and when she's wearing it she looks rather like she's out in her dressing gown!

Just to say, Rosie has now been rehomed to a lovely couple where she will have the best of everything, including copious amounts of love. Wishing them years of happiness together.
