Hello All Pleased to find Scruples I'm an experienced dog owner having pretty much always had 'a pack' since childhood (various breeds including a privately adopted beautiful blue whippet bitch called Brodie) but am currently dogless because I am living with my ex-husband's very geriatric and sensitive cast-off cat. His new wife has other cats and they are all just too old and set in their ways to adjust to each other now. So I have adopted her... oh and my partner and 'tween' daughter live here too. Sadly she won't be with us forever (the cat that is ), but I have always been certain that once she goes I will be looking to provide a forever home to a whippet (or two). She used to live very happily with my Springer Spaniel (passed away last year) even sharing a bed when it suited her, but based on recent visits from friends' dogs, she won't fully accept other dogs now (without getting stressed) unless they are confined to separate parts of the house which wouldn't be fair on either. In the meantime, please excuse me hanging about here. Claire

Just driven back through Burnham tonight after visiting my other half's Aunty and her little blue staffy! We live in Walter's Ash near Princes Risborough, so not far at all!
Would love to see photos of your two.
Have offered to do homechecks as not in a position to foster or re-home at the mo. Do you know when you are likely to hear back about fostering?
