Hi, My names' Karen and I'm married with two grown-up sons. I've always had dogs of one or two different breeds - Labradors, Corgis, Basset, Mongrel. At the moment our gang consists of three Mini Wire Dachshunds, a pug and two Whippets. Our Whippets are Pearl, a two year old black girl who we've had from a pup and Lulu, a rescue girl (not Scruples), who we think is between 12 and 18 months and is dark brindle and white. They are both totally different character-wise, and looks, come to that, but are both great. We don't know anything about Lulu other than she was dumped, so it's been a voyage of discovery! Ha ha. We've had her a couple of months now and have learned never to leave anything vaguely edible anywhere! She has cleared the butter dish twice, nicked bread out of the toaster, defrosting pastry which we had put on top of the wall kitchen cupboard thinking it would be safe! Work tops are just a gentle leap for her. She loves to play with toys as well, will bring a ball or rope tuggy back for ever more. We've never had a Whippet before that was so into toys. Anyway, rambling on too much for just a Hello, sorry.
