hi from lancashire, my partner and i have decided that we would like a dog and decided that a whippet would be the ideal dog taking into consideration space and the fact that we have cats, hopefully there is a whippet out there that would be comfortable with cats! :)we would like to offer a home to a rescue dog and ideally a young adult not a puppy.i met rachael yesterday who is local to me and she told me about this site,(although im not sure how to navigate this site!)i hope this message goes to the right place!.

hi my name is Jan and I live in Somerset with my husband Neil. We sadly lost our beloved greyhound last week after 10 wonderful yrs together. We have filled in an adoption form and are waiting to see if we will be accepted as suitable re homing parents. We would ideally like 2 lively young whippets that we can love (and cuddle) and shower with affection. We have had whippets previous to our greyhound so we are well aware that we will have to share our bed. Fingers crossed.

Don't worry Pauline, we joined several months ago , had an excellent home visit, have made four applications for five dogs and haven't even had a word in reply. Is Scruples an apt name you may ask. Any forum that employs a SMITE facility for it's members isn't particularly adult in my opinion.
